To all new followers, and to those who’ve been loyal/indifferent enough to put up with my egoistic blog, hello! I figured it was time to properly introduce myself, since I haven’t done so in the past two years I’ve been (pseudo)blogging.

I was actually christened as Alyanna Riezel, but I go by Aya, a nickname I made for myself circa 2008. Back then I was a high school sophomore with an unhealthy obsession for everything Japanese. Four years later, that obsession has somewhat subsided but the nickname stuck, and I’m glad it did.   

I’ve been eighteen for almost four months now and to tell you the truth, legality is nothing but overrated. Nothing much has changed except that if I had done a serious crime, like felony or something, I could be arrested and imprisoned. Not that I’m doing anything prison-worthy but really, minors have it good. I may buy cigarettes and booze in the nearest convenience stores now too, except that I’m not actually fond of those. 

I’m an incoming college sophomore majoring in Architecture, and I haven’t had any thoughts of studying otherwise. You’d know everything that interests me in this blog. Enjoy! 

Hello, people of the interwebs.

Something random but here it goes. It is every summer that I realize how much of an introvert I really am. You’d rarely find me online on Facebook chat. Going out with my friends is obviously a no-no, on account of my being broke. As of late, I even find charging my cellphone a bit bothersome. It is as useless as ever.

And to tell you the truth, I’m completely fine with that! You see, it’s not that I don’t like talking to you people or I enjoy ignoring you, it’s just that I’m most comfortable in solitude. Other people just don’t get it.

Anyway! Excuse the Asian pose, colorful fonts and all. I’m into cute stuff, okay! And feel free to send me questions or anything. I’ll answer all of ‘em in a bulk.
